For Indigenous People the Question About Cameras Becomes a Question About Sovereignty
A 2025 study of Indigenous residents in Arizona found that community members generally support police body-worn cameras but emphasized that their use must be guided by tribal sovereignty and developed in collaboration with Indigenous communities.
